Had to Get Barkbusters for the Bike
I decided to get barkbusters for my Royal Enfield Himalayan. I go through some pretty overgrown trails sometimes and the last thing I need is busted up levers or knuckles. These were purchased from Hitchcock’s Motorcycles in the UK. Ordered them along with the slightly taller and tinted windshield I purchased. For the bark busters, I purchased both the aluminum guards (with hardware, of course) and the plastic “storm” guards. From past bikes, I’ve learned that the plastic guards not only stop random things from hitting my hands, they’re also nice in the winter, just to keep the cold from constantly rushing at my hands.

Made by BarkBusters, these Australian branded handguards are designed specifically for the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The heat treated alloy wrap around bars have 2 mounting points to secure them to the handlebars to give added strength and impact protection. The plastic guards are included and give excellent wind and cold weather protection as well as being impact resistant.
NOTE: To avoid the handguard making contact with the windscreen when the steering is at full lock, it is necessary to position the windscreen in the forward position.
