With so many amazing camping gear options out there, what’s best? Honestly, there are many different companies that offer great camping equipment. For moto camping, things need to be lightweight and compact.

Lightweight and compact camping gear often has a bigger price tag than equipment you’d take in a car or camper. It’s made for backpacking and things like moto camping; situations in which weight can make a huge difference.

Is the price worth it? For most of the equipment I’ve purchased so far, yes. I need my bike to remain manageable and not be too weighted down. I only have so much space in which to pack things. Taking the time to make sure everything I purchase is the weight and compresses down small is important.
